Poetry

“show me
the houses drowning in rooftops
and butchered vines simmering
in the concrete death of summer”

In my estimation, I’ve written nearly 500 poems since I started writing in the spring of 2012. Finally, after sitting on a lifetime of work and briefly losing my voice as a writer in college, I began submitting my poems in late 2023. Much of my work deals with memory, nostalgia, and attempting to figure out how the human brain chooses to process its place in the world.
